"WHITE"

Taken during the Christmas "blizzard" of 2010.  14" and whiter by the time it stopped.
You may have to click on the image to see the whole thing.  Or better still, check out the Flickr image .

  2. Such a peaceful and happy shot...all crisp and new, like a rebirth or a resurrection where you are filled to the brim with new love for Him. I like how the falling snow makes the scene soft.

  7. Lovely...so peaceful. There were plenty of opportunities for "white" right after Christmas in our area. :)

  9. Beautiful! The part I like best is the bare branches silhouetted against the white. It adds so much depth and the detail is striking.

  10. I haven't visited for quite some time, but so glad that I did. Your photo is outstanding. I managed to get a larger view by right-clicking my mouse and choosing the "view image" menu.

  12. Thanks all for your comments. That was made Christmas Sunday and services had been cancelled. We got 14" before the snow stopped. Since DOT requested we stay off the roads, I didn't venture out much and missed a lot of good photo ops.
I really need to resize the image so you can see the whole thing without going to Flickr.
