Autumn Colors

I can't believe it's been 9 months since I precipitated.  I'll post my entry here, along with the original, that by the way, was made by my camera whilst hanging on my shoulder (happens a lot).  I may have over-enhanced it.  It has been resized to a 9" x 12" @ 300 dpi image to be used as my desk top image.

Autumn Leaves - English Lyrics
The falling leaves drift by my window
The falling leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sunburned hands I used to hold
Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

  2. Thanks, Marie. And to think that I almost deleted it. I cranked up the color with Paint Shop Pro Photo, added brush strokes, then cloned the original leaves back from the image without the brush strokes. I went on a photo walkabout one day and came back with a dozen shots of the sidewalk. It happens when you leave the camera on and the lens cap off and you have a big elbow.
Here's the link to a similar image in my Flickr Photostream > http://www.flickr.com/photos/oldetownephotos/5049809249/ ( Marie has already been there, thanks )

  5. I love Eva Cassidy! I've been a big fan of hers for many years.. too bad she passed away of cancer at a young age. Her singing career would have been fantastic.

    I enjoy your photos too!
